Every Intersink product, ours included, uses the same API. Enable it in your channel’s settings and build with the same access we have.
A business on Intersink
API access is given by Intersink itself, to channels of businesses created on Intersink. A channel can never hand API access to the people and businesses below it.
Enable the API
Open your channel’s Settings › API and click Enable API. You see the API of every app installed on that channel.
Test key at once
A test key reads your channel’s real data and never changes it, so you can build safely from the first minute.
Live key once verified
Verify your business, then create live keys that read and change data within the scopes you give them.
- One channel per key. A key works only on its own channel, with the scopes its installed apps open.
- Only from your own addresses. Browser calls are accepted only from your channel’s web addresses (and localhost for test keys); keep live keys on your server.
- Honest with data. Customer data is used to do the job, never sold, never used to build a copy of the platform.
- Fair use. All keys of a channel share one rate limit; the first million live requests a month are free.
- Apps for other businesses. Apps that work with other businesses’ data, and App Store apps, go through the developer program and a review.
Publishing apps in the Intersink App Store is by invitation for now, while we decide what the community most needs and finish packaging, payouts and revenue sharing. Every listed app is reviewed too.
