World Bank, 2024Read: Why the world’s smallest businesses deserve the best softwareLong reads on the world our customers work in: small firms, jobs, health, learning, energy and trust. Each one starts with a real problem, checks its numbers against a named source, and ends with what it means for a business like yours.

Nine in ten firms are small, and they are usually the last to be designed for. That is worth changing, and not only for their sake.

Svayam Incarnation Limited, a UK internet company, builds Intersink: one workspace where a person with a free User ID can run one or more businesses. Each business holds its channels, meaning the brands, shops or sites that face customers, and each channel installs only the apps it needs.
Apps are priced per channel per month and billed after the month is used, with one bill per business and no free trials. Every account can use passkeys and two-step sign-in, with roles for each business and channel and an audit log of who did what. Pages already opened keep working offline.
How the platform worksThe Intersink catalogue lists 49 apps in 23 categories, among them Sales and CRM, Commerce, Website and app and Community. A few are marked as in beta or coming soon, and say so on their pages.
Each app is installed per channel, shows its monthly price before you install it, and is billed after use. Every app is free to install today.
Browse the catalogueFour free-credit programmes are open for applications: startup (£8,000), small business (£4,000), nonprofit (£16,000), student (£800). Credits are used before any card is charged.
Who can apply: startup programme, companies under 5 years old with under £1 million ($1.25 million) in revenue; small business programme, registered businesses with up to 20 people; nonprofit programme, registered charities and nonprofits; student programme, students enrolled at a college or university.
