Some businesses want advice before they choose. Some want someone to set things up for them. Some need Intersink to talk to software they already use. Partners do that work, and we want to do it with them properly.
Pick the one closest to how you work today. Plenty of firms do more than one, and that is fine.
01You already sell software or services to businesses, and want to add a platform that grows with them.
About resellers
02You set up, configure and look after software for clients, and bill them for the work.
About agencies and implementers
03You advise businesses and want to point them to a platform you trust, without doing the setup yourself.
About referral partners
04You build software, and want it to work well with the businesses and channels on the platform.
About technology and integration partnersThe main differences are how involved you are, and who the client deals with day to day.
| Partner type | Your part | Inside the client's business? | Who bills the client for apps | Who bills for your work |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Resellers | Advise, recommend apps, stay the first point of contact | Sometimes, with a role the client gives you | We do, monthly after use. Talk to us if you need otherwise | You, if you charge for advice |
| Agencies | Plan, configure, import, train and look after setups | Yes, through the role the client gives you | We do, monthly after use | You, at your own rates |
| Referral | Make the introduction, then step back | No | We do, monthly after use | Not applicable |
| Technology | Build and support an integration using the API | No. Businesses connect your product with their own keys | We do, monthly after use | You, for your own product |
Every business on Intersink belongs to the person who created it. Partners are invited in. They never take over.
A client signs up with their own free User ID and creates their business. If they want your help, they invite you to the business or to one channel, with a role that fits the job. You work from your own User ID. Nobody shares a login.
Roles are set per business and per channel, so a client can give you admin rights on the channel you are building and nothing else. Every business keeps an audit log, so there is a record of what was changed.
When the project is done, the client decides whether you stay. Removing your access takes a moment and does not touch their data. It is a simple rule, and it makes it easier for a business to say yes to working with you.
They create a free User ID and their business. The account is theirs from the first minute.
With a role on the business, or on the one channel you are helping with.
Channels, apps, roles, imports and training, from your own login.
The audit log shows what changed, which helps both of you.
The client keeps you on as an admin, or removes your access.
We would rather offer a few things we can keep doing than a long list we cannot.
For every accepted partner, whatever the type.
So nobody is disappointed later.
Businesses trust partners with their money, their customers and their staff. These rules protect that trust.
We may end a partnership if these are broken.
Choose Partnerships as the topic. A person on our team reads every application.
Every application is read by a person.
If it looks like a fit, we arrange a call to understand how you work.
Before any selling, setup or building starts.
Create a free User ID, add a business and try the platform yourself. It is the best way to know whether you would recommend it.
