Connect your own domain to a channel

Every channel gets a free address straight away. When you are ready, point your own domain at it with one DNS record.
Step by step
- Open Admin → Manage resources → Add domain and type your domain, for example shop.example.com.
- Copy the CNAME record we show you.
- Sign in where you bought the domain and add that CNAME record in its DNS settings.
- Come back and wait for the status to turn to Verified. DNS changes usually take 15 minutes and can take up to 24 hours.
- The security certificate is issued automatically once the domain verifies.
Worth knowingTo use the bare domain, example.com without www, add the record at your DNS provider’s root or apex, using ALIAS or ANAME if CNAME is not allowed there.
Common questions
My domain is stuck at Pending
The old record is probably still in place. Remove any A or CNAME record pointing somewhere else for the same name.
Can one channel have two domains?
Yes. Mark one as primary; the others redirect to it.
